Release Your Music Right The First Time - 3 Release Mistakes That Cost Me 40k!

I think for most indie artists, the topic of money is a sore one. We create music first and foremost because we love it, and most of the time, any kind of income is a bonus, but at some point, we need to make money! 

So when I released my first album ten years ago (after my first one as a kid), I wanted to do it properly. So I went to the bank, and I got a loan for 40k. I was scared, but I knew that I needed to invest in myself to make this first release a success! I needed to release with a bang.. have the album bring in all of the adoring fans, race up the charts and make me an instant star. Instead, I wasted pretty much all of it. Thankfully I had a pretty decent first album regarding the quality, but the release overall was a total flop. I felt like crap, an absolute failure!

After my first release, I was pretty devastated. I wanted to give up, but anyone who knows me knows that I was born with an inherent inability to give up, even when I probably should.

Sky Rocket Your Career By Doing This One Simple Thing

Ok, before I get into this, I want to fully disclose that this idea and lifesaver is the best piece of advice I have ever taken. It comes from Graham Cochrane, the owner of the recording revolution, business coach and entrepreneur.
